Industry Standards
The Beast Cabling System CIS ensures compliance with the following
recognized industry standards and guidelines:
• ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.1 and its addenda
• ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2 and its addenda
• TIA-569-B and its addenda
• ANSI/TIA/EIA-606-A
• ISO/IEC 11801 2nd edition
• ANSI/NECA/BISCI-568
• BICSI’s Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual
• BICSI’s Information Transport Systems Installation Manual
Description:
The Beast Cabling System CIS enables technicians to pull multiple
cables at the same time without deforming the cables. As specified
in ANSI/NECA/BISCI-568, clause 4.1, the Beast Cabling System CIS
removes the possibilities of creating kinks in the cables and
provides a control method to virtually eliminate spiraling and
twisting of the cables during installation. Additionally, it
controls and maintains conformance with the cable manufacturer’s
bend radius specifications for cables during installation per
ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.1 and ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2.
As recommended by the BICSI’s Information Transport Systems
Installation Manual, the Beast Cabling System CIS provides a
straight and friction free path from the reel to the pathway, which
optimizes the performance of the cables by avoiding damage to the
cable jacket or cable geometry. Our CIS also indicates the pulled
cable length during installation to easily monitor cable quantities,
to significantly limit waste, and provides a fast and accurate way
to perform rough-in labeling and cable identification which greatly
facilitates future cable reuse or removal as current and future
building codes require.
